Steve Goodwin

Steve founded the dreamX™ mission after noticing there were many people with talent and dreams who were not sure how to go about achieving them. At times, Steve also noticed talent in people where the person themselves may not have identified their skillset. Taking both of these concepts, Steve conceived the idea of dreamX™ to help bring people's dreams to reality. Steve has owned an operated Software Development Pty Ltd for over 15 years which develops software solutions for individuals and business.

Role: President / Chairman. Steve overseas dreamX™ operations and provides the necessary software development services.

Anna Wachowiak

Anna’s career took her through a range of industries in the private, not-for-profit and the public sectors. Her expertise lies in the employment field where she can offer advice on training, skills development and employment pathways. Anna holds a Masters degree in Economics, Bachelors degree in Finance and an Advanced Diploma in Business Management.

Role: Vice-President / Vice Chair. Anna takes part in leading dreamX™ as the dreamX™ vice-president / vice chair. Anna’s role is to provide strategic and organisational oversight.

Paul Hislop

Paul Hislop is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand. Paul has operated the successful accounting firm – Paul Hislop & Assoc in Kallangur since 1986. In 1982 he graduated from the Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Business with an accounting major. He has a reputation for his diligent practice and caring nature for both small and large business. In the community, Paul enjoys playing Rugby and has been a player for the Pine Rivers Pensioners Golden Oldies Rugby Union Team for 22 years. Paul is an active board member with Veterans Rugby Queensland Inc. He also enjoys reading fiction novels and increasing his knowledge on a variety of subjects. Paul is married and the father of 3 children. His expertise in accountancy and business practice brings valuable knowledge and skills to the dreamX™ board.

Role: Treasurer. Paul handles the governmental requirements of dreamX™ as well as the day to day financials.

Margaret Bell

Margaret has worked as business manager for Aeropower Pty Ltd for over two decades where she currently works in managing the day to day running of the business as business manager. She has a vast array of skills from co-ordinating with trades people, account management, business relations, general accounting, various organisational roles, and employee relations. Margaret enjoys community arts and crafts and involves herself in many cultural diverse activities broadening her knowledge of the way diverse cultures interact. She is very much a dog person, and is a fond supporter of bring your dog to work.

Role: Secretary. Margaret brings her business management experience to dreamX™ as the organisations secretary.

Donna Gooch

Donna has considerable experience working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and has a deep understanding of the employment issues affecting refugee and migrant jobseekers. Donna has been Project Coordinator for MDA’s Certificate programs since August 2012 and is responsible for the overall management and coordination of projects, incorporating strong links to local employment services, training organisations, employers and other stakeholders. She has a strong record of stakeholder, community and employer engagement, high knowledge of employment issues and effects in demographics, non vocational training, case management, job placement and post placement support. Donna also has over 15 years experience working with the mental health sector, supporting patients from acute phase of a range of illnesses to recovery.

Role: Careers Development Director. Donna Gooch brings her experience to the dreamX™ board as the Careers Development director, heading up the careers development committee.

Brett Hoy

Brett is the lead pastor of Three Sixteen Church in South Brisbane. Brett has extensive experience in helping youth, and adults achieve their goals as well as experience in local and international missionary work. Brett is married with four children.

Role: Chaplin / Pastoral Services. Brett provides pastoral care services, missionary co-ordination, and all round Dreamer mentor.

James Lewis

James with over two decades of experience in I.T. support services, owns and operates Software Support Pty Ltd providing I.T. services to individuals and businesses across Brisbane, Queensland. He has advanced skills in diagnosing and fixing computer issues and is proficient in all modern day computer operational requirements.

Role: I.T. Directory. James Looks after all things I.T. related, computers, internet, and cyber security.

Jared Mann

Jared is an effective dreamer himself. Having left full time employment working for a large investment bank Jared went on to create a software package and form a business he later sold which was the first step to achieving his dreams. Jared now works in a variety of areas providing different internet based services specialing in SEO, marketting, tracking and various other internet related areas.

Role: SEO / Social Media Director. Helps with communicating the dreamX™ message through social media through various means.

Trish Goodwin

Trish has worked in the childcare and family support industry for over two decades. During the last decade she has served as a qualified group educator supported for Little Genesis Child Care centre in Joyner. Trish has a natural ability to care, educate, and relate to infants and toddlers.

Role: H.R. Manager. Trish brings her childcare, group educating, family services experience and H.R. studies to dreamX™. This experience allows dreamX™ to be considerate of family requirements and human resource concerns that volunteers, mentors, sponsors and dreamers may face in making dreams become reality.
